PATIENT REFERENCE GROUP
In 2011 we set up a Patient Reference Group following the Government proposal to develop new methods of gaining patient opinions. The main aim of the group is to allow patient representatives and the practice to come together to discuss and plan topics of mutual interest and to allow patients to make positive suggestions about the Practice and their own healthcare.
Our Patient Reference Group is representative of the patients registered at the Practice and this involved us contacting a variety of patients in different age groups, gender, ethnicity, abilities etc. A poster was also displayed on the patient notice board.
Our Patient Representation Group consists of 7 members: 4 female patients and 3 male patients. 1 member aged 18 - 35, 1 aged 35 - 50, 3 aged 50 - 60, 1 aged 60 - 75. The group also represents the following: disabilities, ethnicity, students, unemployed, retired and employed.
GP SURVEY RESULTS 2012
In total over 400 surveys were handed out by our GPs, Nurses and Practice Staff in March 2012. 133 surveys were completed and returned. You may view the survey results on the links below. The action to address any issues the survery results raised was discussed at the April Patient Reference Group meeting, minutes of which can be accessed in the section below.
Thank you to all those patients who took the time to complete and return the survey.
