ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS
 
All our consultations are by appointment. To make an appointment you may telephone the Surgery between 8.30a.m. and 12noon or between 3.30p.m. and 6.30p.m. Monday to Friday (except Wednesday, when we close at 12 noon). Alternatively you may call in person at our Reception from 8.30a.m. to 12 noon or between 2.00p.m. and 6.30p.m. Monday to Friday (except Wednesday).
 
We offer a limited amount of appointment that you can book in the future, appointments that you can book within 48 hours and also telephone consultations.
 
You may consult any of the doctors in the practice, however, if you wish to see one particular doctor, please understand that there could be several days before an appointment is available, particularly if that doctor is not available full time.
 
We are now offering an extended hours surgery on Monday evenings from 6.30pm - 8.00pm. These are for bookable appointments only.
 
URGENT APPOINTMENTS
 
Urgent appointments are for patients who have a medical need to be seen that day or more urgently than the next available appointment.
If you inform the Receptionist that you need an urgent consultation that day, please be prepared to see any doctor available, we cannot guarantee a preferred doctor for urgency's. Please do not use these appointments for non-urgent complaints or administrative matters such as sick notes or passport forms.
If our surgery is particular busy and appointments are fully booked, you may be asked to speak to or come to see our Practice Nurse.
 
HOME VISITS
 
If you require a home visit please contact the receptionist. Please give the receptionist details so that the doctor can assess the urgency of the call. Except in an emergency , please phone before 10.30am. The visiting doctor may not always be your usual doctor. As a matter of routine you will be asked if you are able to come to the surgery as home visits take up a lot of time and we encourage you to come to the surgery where we have better facilities to treat you. Nevertheless we appreciate that some patients will need to be seen at home when they are too ill to come to the surgery.
